A common phrase we have all been taught since childhood is “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” A $0.99 preroll is no exception to that rule. Most manufacturers will have you believe that they are putting “small nugs” in their prerolls. If this were true it would be fantastic, but it’s not. Small nugs or shake as in prerolls is an idea that has been strategically cultivated by the industry to deceive the average consumer into believing they are getting a high-end product at a substantial discount. Instead, companies are buying wholesale trim from various vendors and stuffing it into a joint or blunt.
